Acupressure/Acupuncture is a traditional Indian therapy and was found almost five to six thousand years ago. Acupressure /Acupuncture is generally said that it is a Traditional Chinese medicine method (TCM), but it was firstly discovered in India. Acupressure/Acupuncture is purely an Indian therapy but got less popular. Since last 5 years, it is again getting popular. There are many branches of acupressure/Acupuncture which are as follows –

3- Ayurvedic Acupressure/ Acupuncture
It is an Indian invention and based on 10 elements I.e Prithvi, JAL, Vayu, Agni, Akash, Kaal, Disha, Mann, Atma, and Tam. Five physical and five metaphysical elements.
4 – Allopathic Acupressure/ Acupuncture
It is also known as Electro Acupuncture. It is invented by Dr. R Voll in Germany.
5- Yogic Acupressure/ Acupuncture
It is an Indian invention and based on seven chakras in our body.
6- Sujok therapy –
It is invented by Professor Park Jae Woe in Korea. It is a most advanced technique.

What is Acupressure?
Acupressure is made of two words Acu and pressure. Acu means points and pressure mean heaviness.
What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is made of two words Acu and puncture. Acu means points and puncture mean needling.
It means points are same if it is simulated with the help of finger, thumb or any pointed object, it is called Acupressure. On the other side, if the point is stimulated with the help of a needle , it is called Acupuncture. In the same way, the points are same, if we apply the colors i.e red, blue, green, orange, yellow, brown etc it is called Color Therapy. If we apply seeds like fenugreek ( methi dana), Mong, matra, chana etc it is called Seed Therapy.
So the main thing is Acupressure/ Acupuncture points. Which is the exact point for treatment? Only expert knows the exact point. When we stimulate these points, that results in releasing muscular aches, enhance blood circulation and gives relaxation to the human body.
